This course may be used to satisfy 1-credit hour seminar requirement (BIOL69600) for graduate students in BIOL.  Download BIOL 696 substitution form.

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

This course will focus on current topics in cancer biology such as cancer stem cells, tumor immunology, tumor microenvironment, nanomedicine, etc.  One session per week will be a lecture on the topic of interest picked by the students, and the second session will be dedicated to student presentations of the topic in a journal club format.

PREREQUISITES:

This course is intended for students with background in cancer biology.
